Reception of national delegations at Pulkovo-2 airport (according to the schedule).
Transfer of national delegations to the “Junior 8” meeting location – Management Training Center, Kochubei’s Mansion, Pushkin.
Accommodation of the "Junior 8" participants.
Delegations arriving by an early flight – a guided tour of the Training centre and dinner.

Dinner, late dinner. Introduction briefing.
 
July 8, Saturday. ACQUAINTANCE DAY, ADAPTATION AND START OF WORK
morning
Breakfast.
Official greeting of delegations and flying of the flag of the “Junior” meeting in the courtyard of the Training Centre.
Guided tour of the Training centre – territory and study rooms.
Acquaintance with the palace and park ensemble of Pushkin (former Tsarskoe Selo) and the history and traditions of the town – guided tour of the Ekaterininsky park and Ekaterininsky palace.
afternoon
Lunch.
Organizers’ presentation. Meeting of participants and volunteer tutors. Presentation of the meeting program and joint elaboration of working procedures. Formation of focus groups according to topical issues of the meeting (birthdays, press, web site, etc.)
Coffee break
Training on working with mass media.
evening
Dinner.
Official reception devoted to the opening session of the “Junior 8” meeting. Brief presentations of national delegations (3-5 min. each delegation).
 
July 9, Sunday. THE DAY OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION
morning
Breakfast.Visit to the Russian historic village of Shuvalovka. Drama performance with the participation of J8 participants, old Russian games, meal and making souvenirs. Russian delegation’s presentation. Fashion show by Masha Tsigal, designer of J8 uniform.
afternoon
Lunch.
Transfer to Petrodvorets. Guided walk round the Petrodvorets Lower Park. Sea trip on the Gulf of Finland from Petrodvorets to St. Petersburg.
Guided couch tour of St. Petersburg – history, culture, masterpieces of the architecture.

July 10, Monday. MEETING OPENING. FIRST DAY OF DISCUSSION

Breakfast
Ceremonial opening session of the “Junior 8” meeting.
Press-conference devoted to the opening of the “Junior 8”.
Presentation of the meeting agenda and the topics of round-table discussions.
Coffee break.
Informal discussion.
Meeting and working in focus groups (elaboration of agenda).

Lunch.
Plenary session: "The spread of HIV and other socially influential infections and drug addiction among youth".
Experts’ reports.
Plenary discussion of the key issues. Elaboration of an agreed preliminary stance on the issue.
Coffee break.
Resumption of plenary session. Discussion with Michael Zurabov, Healthcare and Social Development Minister of the Russian Federation.
Formation of focus groups for the elaboration of preliminary stance.
