J8 – Final Working Day

In the morning on July 17, J8 delegations gathered for the concluding session of the forum. At this sitting they were joined by Arkadi Dvorkovich, Head of the Expert Department of the Russian President.

Mr. Dvorkovich talked about the future of the participants of the Summit and discussed the ways of implementing J8 ideas into reality. He also expressed the hope that the J8 delegates would keep in touch with each other after the end of the Summit.

Then each of the Summit participants signed the J8 final document.

The arrival of Andrey Fursenko, Minister of Education and Science for the Russian Federation, who celebrates his birthday today, became a complete surprise for young people. He was immediately lifted up by moderators at the applause the J8 delegates and “Happy Birthday” exclamations.

After the end of the session the Russian team sang ditties dedicated to the birthday of the Minister and congratulated him one more time.
