J8 Closing Ceremony – Looking Back

In the evening of July 17, the closing ceremony of the “Junior 8” Summit took place on the Zerkalnye Ponds of the Catherine Park.

The farewell evening began with a concert where Alexey Vorobyev, “Diva” and Sergey Lazarev performed. After the concert the Russian Team, greeted by the applause of other delegates, one by one signed the J8 flag and handed it in to the national team of Germany, which will be the host country of the next year’s G8 and J8 Summits. Then young people went to the Cameron Gallery, where a theatrical show “Good and Evil” began. The final accords of the show were the J8 Anthem and splendid fireworks.

The fest was over late in the night, only a couple of hours before the departure of the first teams…
